Trying virtualBackgrounds is essentially risk-free. Our promise is simple: you should receive at least one professional, usable background you feel confident using. If your results do not meet that standard, you may qualify for a complete 100% refund.

At virtualBackgrounds, we are committed to providing the best customer experience possible. However, not every background may be a keeper. A few outputs may be off. That is normal with AI generation, and it is exactly why this guarantee exists.

Due to the fact that our product is digital and highly customized, in order to prevent abuse, we have implemented some policies to ensure fairness and keep maintaining a high-quality product for everyone.

All generated backgrounds will include a low-resolution preview for you to assess

Who is eligible for a full refund?

You may qualify for a 100% refund if all of the following are true:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 14 days of purchase.
  • You have not downloaded ANY of the generated backgrounds.
  • You followed our setup guidance properly, including uploading a logo that follows the quality guidelines

What Does Not Qualify

  • Requests submitted after the 14-day window.
  • Orders where at least one generated background has been downloaded.
  • Issues caused by incomplete or low-quality assets (for example, a blurry logo upload).

How to Request a Refund

Email us at support@virtualbackgrounds.com with the email used for your order and your order ID. Tell us what went wrong so we can verify eligibility and either offer you complementary generations or process your refund.

How Long Do Refunds Take

We review refund requests within 1-3 business days. If approved, the funds are returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
